How to Curl Dry Hair

When thinking of using rollers to curl hair, the old fashioned way of curling hair while wet comes to mind. Most people think the only way to curl dry hair is with a curling iron, but that has changed. Using hot rollers you can curl dry hair in less than 20 minutes and have curls that bounce until the very end of the night.

Instructions

1.
    • 1
Plug in your hot rollers so they begin to heat up. Generally, hot rollers take no longer than five minutes to heat up, so be patient.
    • 2
Section your hair into four separate sections while the hot rollers are heating up. First make a line straight down the middle of your scalp, that will give you two sections. Next make another line across the middle of that first line, horizontally.
    • 3
Once the hot rollers are heated completely you may begin inserting them in your hair, but be cautious because the hot rollers are hotter than you might think. For every section of hair that you have previously sectioned off, you will use three large rollers per section or five small rollers per section. Use roller clips to secure each hot rollers in place.
    • 4
Allow twenty minutes time for the hot rollers to cool. While the hot rollers are cooling they are stil curling your hair. In this time, you may choose to eat breakfast, read the paper, do your makeup or simply relax while the hot rollers curl your hair.
    • 5
Remove the hot rollers when they are completely cool to the touch. Once each hot roller is removed, run your fingers through your hair to separate the curls and lastly spray your hair with hairspray to ensure that your curls will keep their bounce throughout the day.
