Gorgeous Hair Made Naturally

A great head of hair awaits you if you take the time to follow easy nourishing routines for your hair. There are quit a few things that I can personally recommend to help you create and maintain the best hair possible for you, so have fun and try some of these tips.

Instructions

    • 1
      * Massage the scalp and hair with warm oil, preferably infused with hair-friendly herbs such as aloe, arnica, birch, burdock, catmint, chamomile, henna, horsetail, licorice, marigold, nettles, parsley, rosemary, sage, southernwood, stinging nettle, psoralea seeds, and mulberries. Massaging your head creates a soothing experience for your body and mind and helps the hair to grow. Massaging does a variety of good things for your hair like smoothing your hair, making it more manageable, spreads the natural oils of the hair, increasing hair luster and vibrancy and more.
    • 2
      * Make sure that your hair is completely dry before going out into the sun. The UV rays from the sun damage your hair even more when it is wet.
      * Try not to put your hair in chlorinated water to often. Chlorine can damage your hair as well as discoloring it.
    • 3
      * Try to not overexpose your hair to the curling iron, blow dryer, straightening iron, etc. These items heat up the hair and dry it out. If you have to use them then try applying a conditioner that helps protect the hair before doing so.
    • 4
      * Limit the amount of hair products that you use like hair sprays, mousse and gels. You can easily get product build up in your hair.
      * When choosing a shampoo, choose one with a pH balance of 7. Other shampoos will over time strip your hair of its natural balance.
      * Never pull or stretch the hair, especially when it is wet.
    • 5
      * Condition your hair regularly. Using hot oil treatments or other deep conditioning treatments on a weekly basis will help to keep it in great condition.
      * Drink plenty of water. Water is good for your body from the inside out. Drinking water is the best way to remove imperfections from your hair and skin.
      * Trim your hair every six to eight weeks to remove the split ends and help maintain frizz free hair.
    • 6
      * After shampooing hair rinse your hair in the coldest water that you can to help lock in the moisture. Cold water helps close the cuticles and keep your color in so it last longer and will be shiner as well.
      * Try using a spray-on or leave-in conditioner after you wash your hair. They really work great at smoothing out your hair and helping detangle it.
    • 7
      * Try washing your hair only every other day instead of every day. Washing your hair to much strips the natural oils that your hair produces and takes shine away as well as fades any color if you dye your hair. If you have oily hair then try using baby powder to soak up the oils on the days you don't shampoo your hair.
      * Keep your hair well conditioned to help the hair stay soft.
