How to Make Natural Treatments for Dry Hair

Make Natural Treatments for Dry Hair

Hot oil treatments, deep conditioners and all natural hair care products found in the beauty section of your local grocery store are expensive and rarely 100% natural. What's more, name brand treatments often make troubled hair worse, as the product build-up and chemical content damage delicate hair. Every woman wants beautiful, frizz free manageable hair quickly and easily, and now you can get it. These all-natural dry hair treatments are fun, affordable and a snap to make.

Difficulty:

Moderately Easy

Things You'll Need:

Coconut oil

Double boiler

Warm towel

Large ripe avocado

Natural honey

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil

3/4 cups lukewarm water

1/2 cup natural yogurt

1 banana

Instructions

Make a coconut hot oil treatment for dry hair by heating 2 or 3 tablespoons of coconut oil in a double boiler. The amount of oil needed will depend on your hair length. Apply the warm oil to wet hair and wrap your head with a warm towel, allowing the oil to set for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash and dry as normal.

Combine one large ripe avocado and 1 tablespoon of natural honey, mashing until smooth. Avocado is a deep penetrating moisturizer that will leave dry hair silky smooth. Honey helps to clear the hair and pours of product build-up. Apply to your hair and allow to set for 20 or 30 minutes before washing and drying as normal.

Beat an egg until frothy stir in a half teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and 3/4 cups of lukewarm water. Apply this natural conditioner to your hair daily as you would your normal conditioner to prevent and treat dry, brittle hair.

Blend 1/2 cup of natural whole yogurt with one banana. Wash your hair and apply the conditioner evenly from scalp to tip. Allow the conditioner to set for 20 to 30 minutes before rinsing and drying
